Player Wellbeing

Responsible Gambling at pk19

Gaming is entertainment — and at pk19 we take seriously our responsibility to keep it that way for every player in Pakistan. This page explains the tools, limits and support options available to help you stay in control, protect your finances and enjoy gaming as a pastime rather than a pressure.

Player Protection

Your Control Tools

Six core responsible-gambling tools are available to all registered pk19 users. They are not hidden in a settings sub-menu — they are a front-line feature of the platform.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your account. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets.

Effective immediately when reduced

Requests to increase your limit are subject to a mandatory cooling-off period to prevent impulsive decisions.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount you are willing to lose over a set period. When that threshold is reached, gameplay is suspended until the next period — protecting you from chasing losses, which is one of the most common drivers of problem gambling.

Loss limits apply across all game categories simultaneously. They cannot be increased without the mandatory cooling-off delay.

Session Time Reminders

It is easy to lose track of time when you are playing live casino or watching PSL in-play markets. Session reminders alert you at your chosen interval — 30 minutes, one hour or longer — so you stay aware of how long you have been playing.

You can also set automatic logout after a defined session duration. The platform will log you out even mid-game if the timer expires.

Wager Limits

Set a maximum stake per bet or per spin across slots, table games and sports markets. This is particularly useful for players who want to enjoy longer sessions without a single large bet erasing a session's bankroll in seconds.

Wager limits take effect immediately and apply to all game types within your account.

Cool-Off Period

Request a temporary break from gambling — ranging from 24 hours to 90 days. During a cool-off period your account is locked for gameplay, no deposits are accepted and all marketing communications are suspended.

Cool-off periods cannot be reversed early under any circumstances. This is intentional — it is a genuine pause, not a soft block.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available. A temporary exclusion locks your account for 6 months to 5 years. Permanent self-exclusion closes your account indefinitely and blocks all future re-registration attempts.

Self-exclusion requests are processed as a priority. All marketing is suppressed, account access is blocked and your data is flagged to prevent circumvention through new accounts.

How To Activate

Setting Up Your Limits

Activating any responsible-gambling tool on pk19 takes under two minutes. You do not need to contact support to set most limits — they are available directly in your account settings. Here is the standard process:

  1. 1
    Log In to Your Account

Sign in using your registered email address and password. Ensure you are on the genuine pk19.cam domain.

  2. 2
    Navigate to Responsible Gambling Settings

Find the Responsible Gambling or Player Safety section in your account settings menu. It is typically accessible from the account profile dropdown.

  3. 3
    Select Your Tool

Choose from Deposit Limits, Loss Limits, Session Reminders, Wager Limits, Cool-Off or Self-Exclusion. Each option shows a clear description of its effect before you confirm.

  4. 4
Set Your Limit Value and Period

Enter your chosen amount (in PKR) or time duration. For deposit limits, the daily/weekly/monthly options are all available simultaneously.

  5. 5
    Confirm & Save

Confirm your selection. Limits that reduce your activity take effect immediately. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered address for your records.

  6. 6
    Need Help? Contact Support

If you cannot locate the settings or prefer to activate a limit via our support team — particularly for self-exclusion — email [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link). State clearly which tool you want activated and we will handle it as a priority.

Know the Warning Signs

Recognise Problem Gambling

Problem gambling does not always look dramatic. It often starts gradually — a slightly extended session here, a slightly larger deposit there — before it begins to affect finances, relationships and mental health. Recognising the early warning signs is the first and most important step.

  • Spending more than you planned or can afford to lose
  • Borrowing money — from friends, family or financial products — to gamble
  • Using funds earmarked for essentials (rent, groceries, utility bills) for gambling
  • Hiding transactions from family members or deleting bank messages
  • Chasing losses with larger bets to try to recover previous losses

  • Feeling anxious, irritable or restless when not gambling
  • Thinking about gambling constantly — planning the next session, replaying losses
  • Using gambling to escape stress, boredom or difficult emotions
  • Feeling unable to stop even when you want to
  • Lying to family or friends about time spent and money lost

  • Neglecting family responsibilities or social commitments to gamble
  • Conflict with family members in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or elsewhere over gambling time or money
  • Withdrawing from friends or hobbies that previously brought enjoyment
  • Missing work, studies or important family events to gamble

  • Opening the app as the first or last thing you do every day
  • Playing during working hours, commuting, or in social situations
  • Setting alarms to wake up for live events or jackpot resets
  • Switching between multiple platforms to circumvent a limit already placed on one account

One warning sign is enough to act. You do not need to identify with all of the above. If even one of these descriptions resonates with your current experience, we encourage you to activate a limit or cool-off period today. Contact [email protected] (plain text only) for immediate assistance.

Quick Self-Check

How Healthy Is Your Play?

The following questions are drawn from recognised responsible-gambling assessment frameworks. They are provided here as a self-reflection tool only — they are not a diagnostic test. If you answer "Yes" to two or more questions, we strongly recommend activating at least one protection tool immediately.

This assessment is entirely private. Nothing you consider here is transmitted to pk19 or any third party. It is simply a prompt to encourage honest reflection.

The pk19 Pledge

We pledge to make responsible-gambling tools permanently available, never to remove them from the platform, never to add friction to their activation, and always to process self-exclusion requests as the highest priority support ticket — above all other account queries.

Pakistan Context

Gambling & Pakistani Law

Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 restricts gambling activities within the country. pk19 does not provide legal advice and does not claim that online gambling is licensed, approved or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority.

Users in Pakistan access this platform entirely at their own legal risk. Being aged 18 or above does not, by itself, make online gambling lawful under Pakistani law. Before participating in any real-money gaming activity, you are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws of your jurisdiction.

If you are located in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar or anywhere else in Pakistan, please take the time to understand local legal restrictions. pk19's educational content is provided for informational purposes only.

Adults Only — 18+ Requirement

All users of this platform must be at least 18 years of age, or the higher minimum age required by the jurisdiction in which the operator holds its gaming licence. Underage access is strictly prohibited. pk19 applies KYC age-verification checks and will close any account where underage access is confirmed — with all associated balances forfeited pending review. If you believe a minor is attempting to access this platform, please report it immediately to [email protected] (plain text only).

Our Commitments

What pk19 Commits To

Always-On Tool Availability

Responsible-gambling tools are never removed, never hidden and never placed behind a support ticket requirement except for self-exclusion (which we process as highest priority).

Immediate Limit Reduction

Requests to reduce any limit — deposit, loss, wager or session — take effect immediately, without delay or friction.

No Marketing to Self-Excluded Players

The moment self-exclusion is activated, all promotional emails, SMS and push notifications stop permanently for the duration of the exclusion period.

Transparent Bonus Terms

Every bonus on pk19 comes with a clear wagering requirement disclosed upfront in plain English — no buried conditions or misleading PKR figures.

Regular Responsible-Play Messaging

Responsible-gambling reminders appear at login, at session milestones and in account communications — not just on this page.

Support Resources

Help Beyond the Platform

If you feel your gambling is out of control, reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Below are text-only references to support resources that may be relevant.

pk19 Support Team

Our support team is available 24/7. If you are concerned about your play, contact us and ask specifically about responsible-gambling tools or self-exclusion.

Email: [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link)

Gamblers Anonymous

Gamblers Anonymous is an international fellowship of people who share their experience and provide mutual support in recovering from problem gambling. GA operates globally and may have meetings or resources accessible to Pakistani users. Search "Gamblers Anonymous" to locate resources — we cannot provide direct links, but the organisation is publicly searchable.

Mental Health Support

Problem gambling is recognised as a behavioural health condition. In Pakistan, mental health services are available through public hospitals in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other major cities. If gambling is affecting your mental health significantly, speaking to a licensed mental health professional is strongly encouraged.

Family & Social Support

Talking to a trusted family member or friend about a gambling concern can be the most important first step. In Pakistani families and communities, social support networks are often the first — and most effective — line of help. You do not need to deal with this alone.

Stay In Control

Gaming Is Entertainment — Keep It That Way

Whether you want to set a deposit limit, take a cooling-off break or read more about the platform, pk19 has the tools and information you need to play responsibly.

18+ only, or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 restricts gambling activities. Consult local law before participating. Gambling involves financial risk — never bet more than you can afford to lose.
